Obituary of Larry Louis Patrick Schambers

     Larry Louis Patrick Schambers of Rescue/Shingle Springs, California.

     Larry passed away on December 24^th, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Joan, son Kevin, brother, and sister-in-law Ardon and Barbara, granddaughters Morgan and Jessie, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     Larry spent his entire 57 year career placing Insurance for various businesses starting with Wausau and ending with his own legacy over the last 25 years. His expertise enabled him to educate both sides of the agreement in the proper use of insurance and risk transfer. His favorite situations involved reluctant, inexperienced buyers and demanding, all-knowing municipal institutions. Both sides were guided through the transaction with equal attention and surety.

     He spent his leisure time with his farm, animals, and orchard, and loved traveling by car to every state landmark and attraction, whether big or small. Annual trips to Canada for family reunions were there highlight of his year. The stories of the family history were continually enhanced when discovering new pictures and films throughout the years.

     Larry excelled at gift giving and never missed a birthday or Christmas so he could bestow a multitude of presents accumulated throughout the year. If the gift engaged, perplexed, or embarrassed the recipient, all the better.

     You will be missed dearly by the close few and greatly by the many afar.
