Representing the Okinawa 11, Larry was a living friend to the army intelligence man and their families, meeting as young men in Okinawa.
After a reunion in New Orleans, we became close and enjoyed his fun loving friendship.
Larry reminded me so very much of my own dad. Their stature, their sense of humor and their very gregarious nature.
Like many, I found myself naturally drawn to his big personality. It has been and I are both very grateful that we met him in person and enjoyed a close friendship for years.
