Obituary of GLADYS TURNER

On Saturday, July 20, 2019, Gladys Turner, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Gladys was born on December 22, 1923 in Mason, Nevada to Joseph and Stephanie Bookman and was the youngest of four children. She had fond memories of many adventures enjoying the outdoors alongside her siblings. She loved her family and good food, and especially loved enjoying those together (with dessert included of course!). Gladys constantly had a smile on her face and her door was always open to welcome visitors. She enjoyed the sunshine and working on her computer whether updating her websites or looking at real estate. Gladys even continued to drive until just before she turned 95. She was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who we will miss every day. We wish her a peaceful rest waiting for the return of our Savior, Jesus. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robyn Gastman and husband Ben Turner. Survived by and left to remember her love are; son Craig (Raelene) Gastman; granddaughter Ranel (Greg) Larsen; great grandchildren Ryla and Guyver Larsen; and grandson Carson (Danielle) Gastman.
