Obituary of RICHARD EDWARD SMITH

Richard Edward Smith 58 of Cameron Park ,was born July 30th 1959, and sadly passed July 12th 2018, peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife Charlotte Smith, his daughters; Hayley Smith, Brandy Burkett, Misty Drake, Wendy Smith, and Mary Contreras, his sons; Gary Smith, and Adam Sanders, his grandchildren; Andrew, Anthony Jr, Haydon, Lucah, Alissa, Trenton, Payton, Faith, Nathan, Trinity, Keyara, D.J., Lindsay, and Rebekah, and last but certainly not least his emotional companion, his chaweenie Jax. "People who love are giving." What a painful lesson, but only to the giver who's love is taunted and left for others to taint. Too many times scorned, somehow Richard found love. He had it in his heart and brought the good out in people. That was his best gift. Him! All of Him!! He made you laugh, cry until you thought you'd never stop, scream in pure rage, curse like a sailor, feel like the most important person in the world, and take away the pain and stress or whatever small trouble you might be having and make it just a little but better than it was before. He was Mr. Fix it. The center of our crazy lives and all the obstacles throughout. He will be greatly missed by all the young and elder lives he's inspired, touched, or taught. Rest in peace. Fly in paradise. May another angel get his wings tonight. We love you. This isn't "Good-bye!", this is "See ya later Dick!"
