Sarah Hudson

Obituary of Sarah Rose Hudson

Beloved daughter. Forever in Our Hearts With profound sadness we announce the passing of Sarah Rose Hudson on March 27, 2023, two days after her 45th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, strength, and many cherished memories.

Sarah was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on March 25, 1978. She is survived by her mother, Theresa (Terri) Bernhardt (Charlie) and father, Dennis Hudson (Celeste), her half-sister, Margaret Garcia (Ryan), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Aside from New Mexico, Sarah lived in San Francisco, Southern California and most recently in El Dorado county. She especially loved the excitement, diversity, climate and food of San Francisco. She attended the College of Marin. Sarah also earned certification as a personal trainer.

Born into a creative family, Sarah had a passion for art, dance and music. Sarah had a remarkable ability to find beauty in the simplest of things. She found joy in nature and animals and expressed this love through her poetry and paintings. Sarah loved to combine fashion and art. She would remake jackets, blouses and pants by cutting into existing clothing and then piecing together random colors and fabric textures.

Sarah had a smile that would light up a room. She never knew a stranger. Her deep empathy for others, as well as her compassion and generosity, touched the lives of those she met. Above all, Sarah cherished her family and friends. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We will miss Sarah more than words can express, and know that her spirit will live on through the memories she left behind. Rest in peace Sarah. You will always be loved and remembered. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Upper Room Dining Hall - https://upperroomdininghall.org/ P.O. Box 484 Placerville, CA 95667.

A celebration of life and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Rest in peace, dear Sarah. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
