Ray was an exceptional human being. He was a kind, compassionate, fun-loving man. Ron and I had the privilege of knowing him (and Carol) for over 40 years. We considered them our 'bestest friends'. We shared many meaningful memories over the years. Friday night dinners, square dancing lessons and dances at American Legion Hall, cruises, scouting events, little league games. I remember once we had an emergency (plumbing issue) during Super Bowl. He came over and fixed the problem while we kept him informed of the score. Not many people would do that.
He will forever have a special place in our hearts. Until we meet again.
