Over the years tens of thousands of children have enjoyed the outdoor school program that Glenn pioneered over a half century ago. The longevity of this program is his living legacy.
Visiting Uncle Glenn, Aunt Barbara and my cousins in Sly Park was always a fun getaway for my mom and I. I have always admired how he was with his kids and looked up to him as the father figure of my youth.
My love for my cousin Janet doubled when I got to know Glenn. They were quite the loving pair. Whenever I got the opportunity to visit Jan, we would sit on their beautiful back porch. Then Glenn would be our personal chef and would make sure our wine glasses were always topped off. What a guy! Surely a good kind man and it was a honor and pleasure to know him.
