Obituary of MARY ROSITA MORALES

In Loving Memory MARY ROSITA MORALES Mary Morales passed away on February 8, 2022, in Carmichael, California. She was 84 years old. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Maryann Huard and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Elizabeth Reed; her husband, Manuel Morales; her son, Tony Morales; her sister, Yolande Couture (Huard); her brothers, Alfred Huard, and Joseph Huard; her nephew, John Huard; and her niece, Patricia LaFontaine (Huard). Mary was born on March 22, 1937, in Beebe, Quebec. In 1950, Mary and her mother moved to Seattle. Mary attended Roosevelt High School and graduated from there in 1955. In 1956, Mary and her mother became U.S. citizens. Upon graduating from high school, Mary went on to college in San Diego, California where she took courses in travel and hospitality. She worked as a flight attendant for 19 years which allowed her to travel the world. She loved travelling and socializing. She was always making friends and had many of them. After her travel career, she worked at various hotel chains as a front desk clerk, greeting guests and taking reservations. Mary was a very special person and will always be remembered by many, many people. There will be two memorial services: The first will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Parish, Redding, California. The second, and final service will be at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, Shoreline, Washington at a yet to be determined date and time.
