Obituary of Ryan James Jackson
Ryan James Jackson, our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Father, and Friend entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on December 31, 2021, in South Lake Tahoe, California at the young age of 33 years.
Ryan was born in Daytona Beach, Florida in May 1988 to David and Patricia (Wagner) Jackson. He has lived in the states of Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, and California, making many friends along the way.
Because of his love for the mountain community of South Lake Tahoe, Ryan was just starting up a non-profit organization called Live, Love, Lake, where he could be instrumental in implementing protective and restorative measures for the local forests and wildlife and focusing on other community affairs.
Ryan leaves behind his young son, John Ocean Jackson, of Gardnerville, Nevada, who he adored. They enjoyed a special bond and cherished every moment spent together.
Ryan’s caring, free spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone he came into contact with. He was a strong life force, wise beyond his years, and an inspiration to all who knew him. His spiritual beliefs in a higher power, the forces of nature and laws of the universe healing the mind, body, heart, and soul, brought serenity to his life. He was a great teacher of these beliefs to help others find their inner peace, strength, and happiness. Ryan’s love of nature is where he truly found his inner peace. His sense of adventure always led him to a new mountain to climb, a new trail to hike, or a new forest to be enveloped in. His love for the outdoors and adventurous activities were only surpassed by his love he had for his family, and the memorable times together we would share.
Along with his son John, Ryan is survived by his loving Mother and Father, Patricia and David Jackson of Ormond Beach, Florida, his two younger brothers, Mark (Hailee) Jackson of Port Orange, Florida and Scott Jackson of Montrose, Colorado.
He leaves behind his beloved Grandmother, Phyllis Wagner of Ormond Beach, Florida, with whom he shared a special loving relationship, Aunts and Uncles; Robert and Barbara Jackson, Frank and Nancy Tangorra, Cousins; Todd Jackson, James Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Craig Tangorra, James Tangorra, and many friends across the country, He was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents, James and Mary Jackson, and Maternal Grandfather, Francis Wagner.
Ryan leaves behind his best friend, his beloved dog Sierra, who he rescued as a pup and shared an inseparable bond.
When you think of Ryan, celebrate the amazing memories of times spent with him; his smile, his laughter, his love.
Ryan will live forever in our hearts until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1185 W. Granada Blvd. #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
