My dear, sweet Lynda. I met Lynda in 1976 when she was hired at the Court. I enjoyed working with her every day. She was a very bright light in my life. Rest in paradise Lynda. I'll see you later.

Lynda was one of the most soft spoken kind hearted persons I have ever had the privilege to get to know. I am sorry to hear of her passing and hope her family finds comfort in her wonderful memories and the promises a of better future according to the Bible. I do know Lynda's care for animals was a heart felt compassion. She reflected the merciful treatment and care for animals that reflected an unselfish way of life. (Proverbs 12:10) Her kindnesses warmed my heart.

Lynda was my reflective supervisor during my many years in the child development program. This was devised to get us through the many difficulties in working with the families we served. Of course many personal difficulties were discussed during this time also. Lynda helped me thru my husbands terminal illness and death. We cried together many times. I considered her a friend as well as a therapist. I loved going to her concerts and reconnecting and after my retirement we met to catch up and have lunch together. I tried to visit her after she was removed from her home but didn't find her. I wanted her to know how much she meant to me and how her support helped me be my best in working with my Head Start families. She was an amazing women and a friend and support to so many. She will be deeply missed. Sincerely, Marsha Herrick, Early Head Start Teacher, retired.
