Obituary of MICHAEL ROBERT CHULATA

Michael Chulata (aka: Mikey or Voo), of Placerville, CA, passed away on April 1, 2021 at age 76 after a lengthy illness. Michael was born in Alameda, CA, and lived most of his life in San Leandro, CA. He graduated from San Leandro High School and was a steelworker by trade. In his leisure time, you could often find him surrounded by friends and family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and wherever he went, laughter was sure to follow. His favorite past times were riding his Harley, playing Nine ball, camping/hunting, but his most favorite thing was being with his family. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Delores (Sam) Chulata, his parents, Albert Chulata and Hazel Super. He is survived by his siblings: brother Gary, sister Donna Maracinni, brothers David Super and Roy Super; his children Tina Chulata, Bob Chulata, and Cheerie Chulata, his 5 step children Debbie, Donna, Diana, Bobby, and Ricky, and his 19 combined amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family also wants to add heartfelt thanks to Debbie Castro, Michael's live-in caregiver, who provided round the clock care and was a true blessing and was with him in his final moments. * Please click on the Tribute Wall to see pictures of Michael.
