Obituary of JACOB STEVEN FOREMAN

Jacob Steven Foreman 11/15/1976~03/12/2021 Jacob at 2 years and in school at 25! He was in day programs from 3 years until 38 years old. He majored in Art! I told God when I was 11 that I wanted to adopt a child with disabilities. I felt strongly about a special child needing so much love to be 100% of whatever that child was meant to be. I had limits, no seizures or drooling. Jacob was my second born child. A small brainstem defect affecting all motor control. speech and cognitive skills. But... He did learn things, just in different time frames from typically. He learned to feed himself. walk and to tolerate school day routines and many tasks for 35 years! He has always been healthy (after the first few months). He was loved by many teachers and captured a place in the heart of everyone that got to know him. He was my mini-man and though he chose a body with limits his mind and spirit were perfection and innocence. It was an honor to be chosen by him and to be his mommy for 44yrs. He had no walk or talk, only a wiggle and a giggle. I did my best, God. Now it's his turn to watch over us. You brought smiles to everyone you ever knew. I love you.
