Obituary of MARIAN KAYE MURRELL
Marian “Kaye” Murrell went home to our Heavenly Father on Christmas evening 12-25-2020. Kaye was born March 9th, 1942 in Longview, Washington and grew up in Rainier, Or. Kaye attended Rainier High School where she received many awards such Song Queen, Homecoming Queen, Drum Majorette and Queen of Rainier Daze. She worked on her Step-dad’s tugboat growing up and he often referred to her as his best deck hand. Ironically even though she would run log runs to unjam logs, she never knew how to swim and she always did this barefoot.
Kaye had a heart of gold and opened her heart and home to many. She raised 6 kids, adopting a few a long the way. She would give you the shirt off her back if she thought it would help. She was one of the strongest women til the end. She never let cancer stop her from doing what she wanted to do.
Kaye is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Triplett, 2 husbands William Earl Keith Hayes and Carl Wayne Murrell and her daughter Terrie Jean Imel. Kaye is survived by 2 sisters, Bobbie Jo Brusco and Jennifer Dimmen as well as 5 children, Michael Hayes, Shawni Dye, Kathie Brown, Denise Hayes-Bales, and Brian Hayes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, Carrie Conley, April Adawalla, Allan Dye, Destry Velasquez, Chelsea Ramos, Sara Dye, Nikita Hayes, Kayeleen Fauth, Teniya Bohnhof, Tahnee Barber, Kelsie Cabeceiras, and Jessica Stewart. And numerous great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
