Uncle Gary will be greatly missed! He was always kind and great to talk with. I wish we had lived closer and seen each other more. I am still in disbelief that he is gone and greatly saddened. He has been a part of our family since I can remember. Love and prayers to Aunt Lynn, Rebekah and Jason and all the other surviving family members of his. ❤

Time will never erase the wonderful memories we have shared over the years. The many hours of fun can never be forgotten. The miles may separate us, but you will always be a part of our family. We are so very grateful to have you as friends, but consider you family. Gary has always been such a hard working man who loved his family, friends and business associates, always putting them before himself. He was truly a perfectionist. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We love you. Larry and Patty

Gary was kind, cheerful, optimistic and a great example to anyone he came in contact with. He will always be a role mode to me.
He was also an inspirational professional who loved to teach. I was one of his dental residents and learned more from him in a few months than I did over years in dental school. He was a master at what he did, and very passionate about his work. He was a patient, knowledgeable, humble, and kind teacher and mentor. I’ll miss him, and I hope I can help a piece of him live on in the care I give my patients, because he was an inspiration to me.

Gary will be great missed by myself and our dental team at SSHWC. Although, I only knew Gary for a short period of time, he would always stop by my office and say “Hi” and check in with me. He would always call me “Charles,” instead of Chuck. He thought it was more distinguished. I’m thankful that I got to meet him, if only for a short period of time. He was a great guy and I will miss him stopping by my office everyday. ❤️

Gary was the best neighbor we could ever ask for and he will be missed dearly. For a while he would leave for work very early in the moring, same time I did, but I always tried to be ahead of him, as it gave me peace of mind knowing if I had any car problems I could count on him stopping to help.
Whenever I would run into Gary when out and about he always greeted me with a great smile and a big neighborly hug. Gary was a great soul and he will truly be missed.

Gary’s smile was contagious. Every time he walked into the dental clinic and said hello with his big smile it would instantly make me smile! Gary would often bring the dental staff Gummy Bears, he would always walk past the dental operatory I work out of just to tell me he brought gummy bears....or in his words “gooomy bears.” Im so sorry for his family and I will miss him dearly.

Gary was a great neighbor and friend.. We helped each other back and forth with chores two old guys couldn't do on their own.
We seemed to have much in common and enjoyed each others company.
While we both had a spiritual knowledge and need we had different convictions. We agreed to disagree on some and
continued as friends.
He will be missed by myself and family.
I send our condolences to Lynn, Rebecca and Jason and his Friends.

I thought I felt a hole in the universe when Gary passed.....then I realized he will ALWAYS be here with us, the memories he left and the lives he touched are a legacy to a wonderful man. Gary’s is an old soul and has been thru here many many times, he will be here ongoing for as long as there is time. I could almost feel his presence in the clinic, it was a better place when he was there, and I am proud to have know him, we had many parallels in our lives and I’m a much better person for knowing him.
Godspeed Gary I feel your presence thru the tears as I write this.....Thank You for being DrB

I met Gary as a resident in the dental clinic in 2015. At that time I would interact with him daily to weekly. As a young resident learning my new craft I always had a lot of questions. Gary was always willing to help me out through any difficult cases and questions I had- which was MANY! His laid back and caring demeanor was very contagious and always made me feel at ease around him.
I would listen to his stories about his family and enjoyed the eagerness he had to play with his grandchildren when they were in town.
Gary will be missed.

I met Gary in 2013 when I joined Shingle Springs Tribal Health. I like Gary personality the most besides his quality work in dental prosthodontics. Gary has made my work enjoyable delivering a great smile to the patients like “Magic”. I told Gary that I wish he can provide my denture when I needed in the future. I never expect that Gary will leave us so soon. Gary is very talented and has added more skill to my dental knowledge. The number of day that he spent with us more valuable than just money. Gary is a part of our dental family member that will be missed. My condolences and pray to all the families. Thank you and thank you for your service .

Uncle Gary was such a gentle, wise and joyful person. I’m deeply saddened to write this but smiling thinking of all the great memories. I wish we were closer and able to visit each other more often over the years. Sammi and I are so grateful that we were able to see him at our wedding not too long ago. Some of my best memories are fishing with him growing up, which I will always cherish. He was always so calm and joyful, with a big smile on his face that was contagious. Uncle Gary, you are greatly missed..

I have known Gary for over a decade. He was a master dental technician rivalled by few in skill but none in personality. Gary was a generous man who brought a smile to everyone he met. He brought gifts for the dental team; whether it was gummy bears, home grown tomatoes, salami and cheese or heartfelt advice, everyone in our department appreciated his generosity.
Gary was remarkably professional and disciplined; he rose early and worked hard. He always delivered on-time and the prosthetics he made reflected the care, joy and pride he took in his profession. While many dentists communicate with their technicians via phone or email; Gary engaged in these discussions in person.
This happened every single day without fail which is unheard of in the dental profession.
At times, Gary would catch me in the rush of the day and take the time to remind me to slow down. He'd come into my office, sit across from me; just waiting for me to finish my administrative work. He'd ask "Hey Doc, how ya doin'?" with an inviting and warm smile.
It was one of the best parts of my day.
The number of lives Gary has impacted is immeasurable. His prosthetic work has restored thousands of smiles. I cannot count the number of times his work brought tears of joy to those in need. Many patients would tell me his work felt natural and comfortable and helped them get their lives back.
Gary taught me not only the 'Art of Prosthodontics' but also the 'Art of a Joyful Life'. He had such a great sense humor. He proudly shared stories of his family; his wife, children and grandchildren.
I am very saddened by his loss and miss him dearly. I feel that Gary was not just a part of our Dental Department's family but also my own. My sincerest sympathies are extended to his family and friends.

I met Gary through Dr Morgan. The times we spoke he always had a smile on his face and was very friendly. He made my partials which were fantastic. They were just like having my real teeth in. If you have ever had a partial if it ain't done right your life actually can suffer because of difficulty in the bite and chewing. Gary's work really made my life better because of the craftsmanship in his work, its an art to correctly make a tooth or teeth for a specific person.. He was a master at his work..
I'm very sorry for his family and friends loss. Again my condolences to family and friends.

You will be missed Gary. I have so many memories growing up with Rebekah and Jason. Always being at your house in Tracy or your office. And your infectious smile I can still see today.
