Obituary of WILLIAM "WILL" - BARNARD

William “Will” Barnard, of Kelsey, passed away on October 11th 2020 in his home, of natural causes at 73 years old. Born in Medford Massachusetts, he called California his home. Will was a master gardener and loved all things related to plants and trees. He taught gardening at the American River College and also wrote a newspaper article in the Mt. Democrat on gardening for years. He was a private man who loved to ride his motorcycle and the solitude of the desert. He is an Air Force veteran who honorably served the United States in the Vietnam War. Will was an active member of the American legion #119 and supported many organizations including the Nature Conservancy, Arbor day Foundation, V.F.W, Sierra Club and Saint Josephs Indian School to name a few. We will have a graveside service at Kelsey Cemetery, 6553 Kelsey Road, to honor him on November 8, 2020 at 10am.
