Obituary of Scott Fritz
Raymond “Scott” Fritz
February 25, 1957 – May 31, 2020
Beloved Son, Brother, Dad, Grandpa & Friend
The light he brought to the world was so great,
that even after he rode away the light remains.
Scott is survived by his father George Fritz and stepmom Lynda Fritz; brother Randy Fritz and sister Terryann Blasingame. He has a daughter Brandie Birchfield; two sons R. Tyler Fritz and Timothy Fritz; and three grandchildren, Warren, Timmy, and Lorraine. Scott started his career as an autobody technician and custom painter when he was in high school working in his father’s shop some 45 years ago. He was a masterfully gifted artist with a passion for restoring and painting motorcycles, classic cars, and hot rods. Scott had an adept eye for painting flames with magical contrast. He also painted many race cars throughout his career. Scott was an independent thinker and did not like asking for help. His friends admired his style and appreciated his loyalty. He was proud of his children and thankful to be a Father and Grandpa. Scott is loved by many and will be missed by all. Before his passing Scott wished to ride his Harley again and have a custom car and motorcycle show with all his friends.
There will be a celebration of life at Bones Roadhouse located at 4430 Pleasant Valley Road, on Saturday, June 20 at 11 am for family and friends. A tributary car and bike show will be held to showcase the artistic and accomplished contributions Scott made to the classic car and custom motorcycle community.
