Obituary of David Norman Anderson

David Norman Anderson David Norman Anderson, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019, in his home in Georgetown, California. He was born on September 3, 1940, in Ada, Minnesota to Norman and Mary Anderson. He graduated from Ada High School in 1958 and then attended Concordia College and Moorhead State University, both in Moorhead Minnesota. After graduating in 1962 with a degree in Mathematics, he taught Math and Science in Borup, Minnesota and in Rialto, California. Eventually, he moved the family to San Jose, California in 1969, where he worked for Control Data Corporation and, later, for Data General. Upon his retirement, he worked on motorcycles and even built a few from the ground up in Los Banos, California. In 2004, he moved to Georgetown, California, and continued to help several locals with their motorcycles. So much so that a few called him “Dr. Dave”. He is survived by his children David P. Anderson and Suzanne M. Anderson as well as grandchildren Devon K. Anderson and Keith D. Anderson along with his great-grandchildren Blake, Kole, and Owen Anderson. He is also survived by his siblings Janis Eckhoff, Glenn Anderson, and Nathan Anderson.
