Obituary of CRAIG BRYAN SCHOENEMANN
Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Craig married the love of his life on November 28, 1981.
He is survived by his adoring wife Michelle, his loving children Michael Schoenemann, Sarah Freemyer, his beautiful daughter in law Katie, and his wonderful son in law Dennis, his brother Lester, and sister Mary Louise Willett, brother in law Paul, his nephew Mac Willett, and his niece Madeline Willett.
A long time resident of Shingle Springs, Craig passed away too soon at only 60 years young. His journey in California began with designing and building his beautiful custom dream home with his family working by his side. He shared that home with his family and many friends. Craig was passionate about his family, cars, and politics. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was always there to lend a hand, fix something, or add an addition to a friends home. He loved a challenge, and was a self taught builder, mechanic, and leather worker. There was never a task he could not figure out how to fix or improve on. He took advantage of living in wine country by visiting the many wineries in the area with his wife. Craig loved entertaining in the amazing home he built and was a wonderful host and tour guide. Once Craig got to know you, he loved to share his many opinions on the state of our country, and more locally, the state of affairs in California. His passion for cars was something he loved to talk about and share with every one. Craig was the kindest, caring, compassionate, and loving person, and he will be dearly missed by every one that ever knew him and loved him.
