Obituary of MARY JANE BATTAGLIA

Mary Jane was a native of Duquoin, Kansas. She was a WWII veteran of the Navy, where she taught pilots how to navigate over water by instruments in a Link Trainer. She was a long-time resident of Placerville and was very active in the community. She died at home after a short illness, at age 98, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Philips. She is survived by her husband of nearly 71 years Angelo "Batt" Battaglia, her daughters Bonnie, Barbara, and Beverly, and her granddaughter Amanda. Graveside services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contact the family for more information.
