Obituary of ELAINE ROBERTA FERGUSON

Elaine R. Ferguson 4-12-1945 – 4-24-2019 Elaine Ferguson was born in San Francisco in 1945. She moved with her family to Chili Bar Beach in Placerville in 1955 where her family owned and operated a resort. Elaine graduated from El Dorado High School and was a proud member of the class of ’63, where she was a homecoming princess, a songleader and a popular member of her class. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elaine Gilmour. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Eric Ferguson; her three daughters, Lori Ferguson-Anderly (Steve), Cari Williams (Rich) and Kelli Randolph (Tyler); seven grandchildren, Jacob, Levi, Reagan, Wyatt, Rebecca, Clayton and Romi along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Elaine and Eric raised their family in El Dorado County and Elaine worked for the Buckeye Union School District for many years. Elaine was a loving wife and mother. She loved her grandchildren and for the last 22 years she spent as much time as she could with them. Her grandchildren were an enormous source of pride and joy. It has been said that Elaine never knew a stranger. She will be missed by all. A memorial for Elaine will be held on June 9, 2019 from 1-4 pm at the Masonic Center Placerville 26 F & AM at 2820 Cold Springs Road in Placerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snowline Hospice in Elaine’s name.
