Obituary of BRIAN LEE MCGUIRE
It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Lee McGuire announces his sudden passing on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the age of 47. Brian was born in Carmichael, CA and grew up in Rio Linda, CA where he attended Rio Linda High School. Upon his graduation from Rio Linda High School he enlisted into the United States Marine Corp where he served honorably for 22 years, which included 3 deployments Desert Storm Operation Enduring Freedom, and twice to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Just before his last deployment Brian married the love of his life Tania on March 8, 2008 and even though he already had to kids of his own Destinee and Jordan he took her son Devon in and raised him as his own. Brian’s family and kids meant the world to him and he would do anything in his power to make them happy.
Brian will be forever remembered by his loving wife and soul mate Tania, and his amazing children, Destinee, Jordan, and Devon, by his father Troy and step mother Mary, father in-laws Malcolm MacGregor and Edward Stowell and mother in-laws Sandra Stowell and Kelley MacGregor. He also survived by his brother Shane, step brother and step sister in-law Allan and Tiffani Engvall, brother in-law Joe Espinoza and sister in-law Amber Von Keammer.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 22, 2019 at 9:30am at the Affordable Cremation and Funeral Center North, 4750 Beloit Dr., Sacramento, CA 95838
Following directly after memorial service there will be the Committal and Military Honors on Friday Mach 22, 2019 at 11:30am at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA. 95620
After Committal service everyone is welcome to come back to the McGuire Ranch at 3700 Springer Rd., Placerville, CA. 95667 to celebrate Brian’s life and the way he would have wanted it with a big BBQ.
