Obituary of DANTE PETER GALLI

Dante “Dan” Peter Galli died unexpectedly on December 28, 2018 in Placerville, California at the age of 68. Dan is survived by his loving Wife of 47 years, Corrinne, daughter Nanette Galli of Roseville and adopted son Jarrod Holbert (Dena) of Placerville; grandchildren Robert James (Ashley) Langley, Cynthia Langley (Jamie), Lynnea Galli, Joan Galli, Banom Leege, Jessica Leege, Jarrod Austin Holbert, Ella Holbert, Lydia Holbert; and great-grandchildren Dakota and Braelynn Langley, Blossom Leege and Remington Gilbertson. He is further survived by his brother, Carlo (Bertha) Galli and sisters Josephine Berry, Cleo (Kelly) Waltner and Loretta “Lori” (Don) Cook and half-sister Carolyn Del Hierro He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Vivian Galli, his son, Dante Peter Galli II and his adopted brothers Michael D. Fowler and John S. Gumina. Dan was born on August 14, 1950 in Lodi California to Peter and Vivian Galli. He graduated Ponderosa High School in 1968. He married Corrinne Rounds February 20, 1971. He was a mechanic for many years and specialized in brakes and front end alignments. In 1984 he joined the General Construction and Laborer’s Union, Local 185 and later became a Construction Foreman for Syblon-Reid Construction.
