Obituary of LORRAINE ANN FREDLUND
Lorraine Ann Fredlund
Born in Sacramento, CA, Lorraine died peacefully at home in Placerville, CA after a seven-year battle with cancer. She attended elementary school in Sacramento and Hayward, graduated from Ranum High School in Denver, CO, and also attended Colorado State University.
Having moved with her family to San Ramon, CA in 1969, Lorraine married David Fredlund in 1972 in Concord, CA, where they lived and raised son Eric, daughter Becky (now Crosswhite), and sons Paul and Steve. Lorraine was active in Clayton Junior Women’s Club, Trinity Baptist Church, and was a class parent for school and a soccer mom. (and player). When the children were grown, Lorraine worked part-time at Mervyn’s, Mail Boxes Etc., and McCaulou’s. Since retiring from work (and even before), Lorraine has been active in the lives of her grandchildren.
To be closer to family members, Lorraine and David moved to Placerville in 2016. Lorraine is survived by her husband David, parents Vernon and Beverly Clark, father-in-law Ronald Fredlund, sister Linda Tinsley, brother Robert Clark, three brothers- and sisters-in-law, four children, three sons- and daughters-in-law, seven nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren, and seven grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
