Obituary of GLENDA LOU REED

In the afternoon of April 9th 2018, Glenda passed away peacefully of natural causes. Glenda was being visited and comforted by family members at the hospital at the time of her passing. Glenda was 72 years of age.
Glenda was born and raised in Colorado. When she was 20 she moved to central California and finally in 2008 she moved to Diamond Springs where she loved to live the most. She loved crafts of all kinds from making wedding cakes in her younger years to making specialty eggs in her older years. She enjoyed card games, playing the guitar, and watching the wild animals from her living room.
Glenda was an amazing foster mother. She loved every baby as if they were her own She made a baby blanket and scrap book for every baby's new parents. She fostered 22 babies.
Glenda enjoyed County & Western music where she became a fantastic dance instructor.
"This is a house of Love" is an expression she often said to her daughter and grand children.
Glenda was preceded in death by both of her parents, son James, first husband David, cousin Sandy, aunts, uncles, and fur babies Lady and Spanky.
Glenda is survived by her husband Fred, sister Patricia, daughter Luci, son Chris, grand children Erica, Austin, Ethan, and Leo and her great grand child Kai. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, lots of friends, and her fur baby Abby.
