Obituary of LORRAINE JEAN CARPENTER

Lorraine Jean Carpenter passed peacefully Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Placerville CA. She was born on November 7, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA. She was 88. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Krick, sons Michael Poulton and William Poulton, Jr. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Misty Camfield and Amber Westmoreland and 5 great-grandchildren. Lorraine was born and raised in Los Angeles where she attended Belmont High School (’48) and Los Angeles City College. In later life, she lived in Greenwood, CA with her son, Michael. She was a member of Job’s Daughters International. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was a faithful Christian. During her working career, she was an Executive Secretary and a Travel Agent. Lorraine was a genuine, loving mother who instilled kindness, sensitivity, and gentleness. She had a warm heart and her smile was quick and genuine. She will be missed, we love you Mom… In lieu of Flowers, please donate to a worthy charity of your choice.
