Obituary of JAMES RALPH MORROW
James ( Jim ) R. Morrow
Passed away in Placerville, Ca. on Saturday morning January 13, 2018. He was surrounded by family members his beloved wife
Roberta, his mother Mary Lou Morrow, his sons Jimmy and Johnny Morrow and his sister-in-law
Kathy Stokes.
He was born June 10 1953 in Dayton Ohio, to James and Mary Lou Morrow.
He is survived by his sons Jimmy Morrow and wife Becky, Johnny and Jeremy Morrow. His mother Mary Lou and his brothers
Darrell, Jerry and wife Michelle, Cameron and wife Judy. 6 grandchildren, Timothy,
Austin, Kimberly and Heavenly and 1 great granddaughter Shania..He also has many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father James, brother Larry and grandchildren Kayla and Clayton Morrow.
Jim moved to California when he was child and grew up in Citrus Heights,where he attended Casa Robles High School.
Jim had a career in maintenance with Woolworth's where he met his second wife Roberta in 1984. He then went to work at Jumbo
market, followed by R L Stewart and Co. where he did store remodel and maintenance work. He ended his career working for a
school in south Sacramento for special needs students. He was injured on the job and was forced to medically retire..
Jim and Roberta had a 33 year plus relationship. They were married on February 1 2003. They Spent 16 years living
in Lincoln Ca. Where they had Many horses, dogs,goats and other animals including 89 ducks.
Jim had a love for race cars, car shows and loved to spend his time out at All American Speedway in Roseville.
He also loved to go camping in the Mountain's and along the California Coast. Taking day trips to the Ice House
Reservoir Jenner By the Sea and Bodega Bay, He loved going to the light houses, to draw and would
also use scraps of wood to make miniatures from a house, lawn mower, rotor tiller swing set slide,teeter totter,
power tools and many more items. some of his favorite T V shows were American Pickers, Curse of Oak Island
Ice Road Truckers and Counting Cars. He like to listen to the Beatles and Olivia Newton John.He loved classic rock.
Until his health became so bad that he was unable to do the things that he loved he was always up to something,
included being a practical joker. He loved it when he thought that he got on over on you.
