Obituary of WARREN K. LISTON JR.
Warren K. Liston Jr.
Passed away October 8, 2017.
Born July 4, 1932 Batavia, Ohio. Son of Warren K & Helen Liston.
He was the youngest of four when the family moved to San Francisco in 1946. Graduated from Balboa High School, San Francisco.
1950 he started work at Hunter Point Naval Ship Yard as electrician apprentice on submarines and ended as Working Supervisor on Aircraft carriers 1969 when Hunter Point shut down. Continued his 37 year Federal career working for Federal Aviation Administration retiring in 1987.
He was a resident of Shingle Springs and Latrobe area for 40 years. During this time he was member of the Country Western band “The Buck Board Bunch” which perform throughout El Dorado County in Northern California.
He was preceded in death by his brother Robert, sister Betty & sister Margaret.
He is survived by 10 nephews and nieces and nephews, a great many nieces and nephews and Grand nieces and nephews.
He will be truly missed by family & friends.
He will be laid to rest 12 p.m. Friday October 27th at Elm Ridge Cemetery, Nevada City, Nevada County, California.
